Tarpon Springs Historic District
The Tarpon Springs Historic District is a U.S. historic district in Tarpon Springs, Florida. It is bounded by Read Street, Hibiscus Street, Orange Street, Levis Avenue, Lemon Street, and Spring Bayou, encompasses approximately 700 acres, and contains 145 historic buildings. On December 6, 1990, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
Tarpon Springs Cultural Center
The Tarpon Springs Cultural Center offers a variety of cultural exhibits, presentations & shows as well as gifts & souvenirs. The Cultural Center is housed in the old Tarpon Springs City Hall building at 101 South Pinellas Ave. (727) 942-5605
Safford House Museum
One of Tarpon Spring's best-kept secrets is the 1883 Safford House Museum. The Safford House has been restored to its original Victorian splendor & is open to the public. The Safford Residence is listed on the National Register of Historic Places & is owned & operated by the City of Tarpon Springs as a museum.
